Education & Resources

Upcoming webinars

Our free webinar series is designed to teach new and experienced users how to effectively use Coreform software. We always include question and answer sessions with our live webinars, so we highly recommend attending in person. However, if you can’t make it, all registrants will have access to the recording, and you can always ask questions on our forum.

Demonstration of a nuclear multiphysics workflow using Coreform Cubit, OpenMC, MOOSE, and Cardinal

Join us for a demonstration of how to use Coreform Cubit to prepare an OpenMC native geometry for multiphysics simulations with MOOSE and Cardinal.

Presenting this webinar is Dr. Patrick Shriwise, Assistant Computational Scientist at Argonne National Labs and OpenMC and DAGMC developer, and Dr. April Novak, Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and lead developer of Cardinal, a wrapping of the GPU-oriented spectral element Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code NekRS and the Monte Carlo particle transport code OpenMC within the MOOSE framework.

Webinar attendees will learn how to use recent enhancements to Coreform Cubit to selectively visualize OpenMC Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) models in 3D, generate fully conformal, high-quality DAGMC and MOOSE models inside Coreform Cubit, and run a simple multiphysics simulation with Cardinal.
